We recommend that you schedule your dental exams and cleanings every six months. Most dental insurances cover 100 percent of the cost of your routine preventive and diagnostic care, including checkups and cleanings. We find it very helpful if you would help our staff obtain your prior dental x-rays and any outstanding treatment plans you may have. 

During your visit, we will examine every aspect of your oral health. We will use dental x-rays to identify and diagnose any potential problems and will conduct a periodontal exam to check on the health of your gums. We will perform a tooth by tooth examination to check for chips or cracks, along with signs of tooth decay or cavities.

We will also analyze your bite and conduct an oral cancer screening. We will identify any condition that needs treatment and may recommend cosmetic dentistry procedures such as teeth whitening to keep your smile white and bright.

During your appointment, we will also perform a professional dental cleaning to prevent tooth decay and gum disease from developing. Our dental hygienist will remove any plaque and tartar, leaving your mouth minty clean and bright!
